Balance & Flex Profile
The Ashaway Vex Striker 800 SuperLight is a 78g (5U) badminton racket from the Vex Striker range, designed for intermediate and advanced players who value agility, speed and control. Replacing the well-known Ti130, it pairs a high-flex shaft with premium materials, and suits both singles and doubles.
Key Features
- High-modulus graphite frame – VS Carbon (100% graphite) for a very light yet robust frame and a solid, reliable feel.
- Flexible shaft – increases shuttle dwell time on contact for powerful shots with minimal effort and smooth transitions between attack and defence.
- Isometric VS head shape – maximises the sweet spot for more forgiveness on off-centre hits.
- Pre-strung with Ashaway Zymax 69 Fire White – factory strung at 23 lbs with a durable, high-repulsion string; the frame supports up to 26 lbs for players who want a tighter string bed.
- 78g (5U) – very fast racket-head speed for quick exchanges, especially in doubles.
- Black and yellow colourway – a bold, striking finish.
Performance Overview
Light and agile, the Vex Striker 800 SL is well suited to fast defence, net play and quick transitions. The flexible shaft and isometric head give easy power and precise shuttle control, making it suitable for aggressive attacking players and all-rounders alike. It offers high-end performance at a fraction of the cost of premium rackets.
