Balance & Flex Profile
The Ashaway Viper XT Sub Zero is a stiff, 3U badminton racket built for power, precision and stability. Viper Alloy Technology and a Hi-Modulus Carbon frame make it a strong choice for advanced players with good overhead technique, in singles or doubles.
Key Features
- Viper Alloy Technology – alloy layers between the graphite reduce frame warping and add stability on impact, keeping smashes accurate.
- Aerodynamic frame – a slim, aerodynamic profile cuts air resistance for faster racket-head speed and quicker reactions.
- Ultra-slim shaft – highly manoeuvrable for quick transitions between attack and defence, especially useful in fast doubles play.
- Hi-Modulus Carbon frame – strength and stiffness for power and durability through intense play.
- Pre-strung with Zymax 69 Fire – Ashaway’s award-winning string, offering repulsion, control and tension retention from the first swing.
Performance Overview
The 3U weight and stiff frame maximise energy transfer for powerful overhead shots and smashes, while the Viper Alloy layers keep the frame stable under high-impact conditions. The ultra-slim shaft and aerodynamic frame keep it fast and agile in quick rallies, and the even balance lets it adapt to both aggressive and tactical styles in singles and doubles.
Who Is It For?
- Advanced players – with strong overhead technique who want power and control.
- Aggressive smashers – who rely on powerful smashes and quick racket-head speed.
- Singles and doubles players – the racket is designed to perform in both formats.
