Balance & Flex Profile
The HEAD Speed MP L 2026 is the most accessible performance tennis racquet in the Speed family, designed for intermediate players and advanced juniors who want a lighter, faster-swinging frame without giving up control or feel. As a lighter version of the Speed MP, it offers easy manoeuvrability and a good pick-up feel for modern, fast-paced tennis. Endorsed by Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Emil Ruusuvuori and Karolína Muchová.
Key Features
- 285g unstrung – easy to accelerate, for quick reactions, easy depth and fast defensive play. This generation is 5 grams heavier than the previous MP L, adding a little stability and power while staying quick through the air.
- 100in² head with 16×19 Speed pattern – accessible power and spin with reliable directional control.
- Auxetic 2.0 – adapts on contact for enhanced feel and accurate feedback, helping you trust your shots as swing speed increases.
- Hy-Bor (shaft technology) – an aerospace-inspired material blend that improves perceived stability and gives HEAD's solid impact feel.
- Graphene Inside – positioned to strengthen the frame, increase stability and optimise energy transfer from racquet to ball.
- Directional Drilling – optimised grommet alignment enlarges the sweet spot and adds power while keeping a plush response.
- Power Grommets – enlarged grommets maximise string movement for added power and touch.
- Speed Beam – aerodynamic beam design increases swing speed and racquet-head acceleration.
Performance Overview
