Balance & Flex Profile
The Wilson Ultra 99 Pro V5 (model WR178711U) is a 305g tennis racket for advanced and competitive players who want power with a manoeuvrable, head-light feel. A 99 sq in head, 16x18 string pattern and SI3D frame technology give power, spin and control for aggressive baseline play.
Key Features
- Power with a balanced feel – built for players who want dynamic hitting from the baseline.
- Improved spec tolerance – precision-manufactured with Baiardo Tune Pro technology for consistent weight, balance and swing weight, so every frame performs the same.
- SI3D frame technology – optimises three-dimensional frame bending for power, spin and control; the Ultra V5's modern power profile helps shot shaping and gives a more forgiving sweet spot.
- Click & Go bumper system – easy-to-replace bumpers and grommets simplify maintenance, protect the frame during play and extend its lifespan.
Performance Overview
The Ultra 99 Pro V5 pairs a 305g unstrung weight with a 6 pts head-light balance, so it stays stable through the ball while remaining quick to manoeuvre. The 16x18 pattern and SI3D bending profile help you shape the ball with spin, and the 22-24-21 mm beam gives a modern, controllable power level.
Who Is It For?
Advanced and competitive players looking for a powerful, manoeuvrable frame with excellent control and a modern feel, suited to aggressive baseline play.
