The Yonex Power Cushion 65 Junior (SHB65JR) is a junior badminton shoe for young players aged approximately 7–12, combining comfort, cushioning, stability and durability. Inspired by the adult Power Cushion 65 series, it helps developing players move confidently, react quickly and stay comfortable through training and matches.
Key Features
- Power Cushion – absorbs impact from jumps and landings and converts it into responsive movement, reducing stress on growing joints.
- Round Sole – promotes natural movement and efficient energy transfer for quicker changes of direction.
- Ergoshape – extra support around the forefoot and toe area for comfort and balance.
- Inner Bootie construction – a snug, locked-in fit that reduces movement inside the shoe during rapid court movement.
- Durable Skin Light upper – flexible, breathable and durable for a supportive fit.
- ToughBrid Light midsole – keeps its shape while reducing overall weight, so young players can move quickly without losing cushioning.
- Radial Blade Sole – an outsole pattern that increases traction and control on lateral movements and quick stops.
Performance Overview
The PC65 Junior gives young players proper badminton technology in a lightweight, junior-friendly shoe. Power Cushion protects developing joints, the Inner Bootie and Ergoshape keep the foot stable, and the Radial Blade Sole provides the grip needed for confident multi-directional movement in fast rallies.
