Balance & Flex Profile
The Yonex Astrox 100 Game (AX100G) is a high-value, attack-oriented badminton racket for recreational to intermediate players who want powerful smashes with controlled handling. A head-heavy balance, medium-flex shaft and Yonex's Astrox technologies give easy power, smooth transitions and consistent performance – one of the best entry points into the Astrox performance series, here in Kurenai.
Key Features
- Head-heavy balance – designed for explosive smashes and deep clears, giving attacking players an advantage.
- Medium-flex shaft – a balanced blend of power and control, ideal for players with mid-speed swing mechanics.
- NANOMESH NEO – improves frame strength and shaft flexibility for better energy transfer and shot consistency.
- AERO+BOX frame – aerodynamic swing speed with a solid hitting feel for fast attacking rallies.
- Rotational Generator System – distributes weight across the frame for smooth transitions between attack and defence.
- ISOMETRIC head shape – an enlarged sweet spot for accuracy and forgiveness on off-centre hits.
- Energy Cap Plus – improves shaft stability and flex performance for control and responsiveness.
- Extended length (+10mm) – more reach and leverage for power in smashes and clears.
- Weight and grip options – the model comes in 3U and 4U with G4/G5/G6 grips; this listing is 4U G5.
- Value performance – premium Yonex technology at an accessible price point, ideal for upgrading players.
Performance Overview
The Astrox 100 Game provides accessible attacking performance without the demanding stiffness of high-end rackets. Its medium-flex shaft helps generate power with less effort, making it ideal for players still developing swing speed and technique. The head-heavy balance drives the smash, while the Rotational Generator System keeps recovery and control smooth in fast rallies. With the isometric head and AERO+BOX frame, the feel is forgiving yet responsive, so you can stay consistent in attack and defence, in singles or doubles.
Who Is It For?
- Recreational to intermediate badminton players
- Players seeking a power-focused, head-heavy racket
