Balance & Flex Profile
The Yonex Nanoflare Nextage is a head-light badminton racket designed for intermediate players who want more speed and a softer, exhilarating hitting feel. Released on 17 January 2024, it joined the NEXTAGE series following the Astrox Nextage, and comes here in White/Grey at 4U (average 83g) with a G5 grip.
Key Features
- Nanocell NEO – a resilient yet flexible graphite material that blends strength and elasticity.
- AERO Frame – smoother head contours reduce wind resistance and accelerate racket speed.
- ISOMETRIC Technology – enlarges the sweet spot by 7% compared with conventional round frames, for more control without sacrificing power.
- Sonic Flare System – high-modulus graphite at the frame’s tip and strong, elastic graphite at the base for high repulsion, stability and shuttle acceleration.
- Enhanced Sonic Flare System – high elastic modulus HT Graphite at the tip and Connected Grommets at the base for extra repulsion and comfort.
- Wide Profile Frame – a wide frame and aero shape with sharp edges reduce frame warp during the swing, improving repulsion and follow-through.
- E.B. Cap Plus – increases the snapback of the racket.
- Super Slim Shaft – reduced air resistance and maximum feel; Yonex describes it as the slimmest racket shaft it has ever produced.
Performance Overview
NEXTAGE, made up of the Nanoflare Nextage and Astrox Nextage, is a line-up for intermediate players progressing to the next level. The series is marked by a comfortable feel at impact, while each model keeps the DNA of its own range – here, the Nanoflare’s speed.
