Balance & Flex Profile
The Yonex VCORE 100 PLUS takes everything players like about the VCORE 100 tennis racket – spin, forgiving power and an aerodynamic feel – and adds an extra half-inch of reach (27.5 inches). The longer frame gives more leverage for bigger serves, a heavier ball and spin from the baseline. Supplied unstrung in Ruby Red.
Key Features
- Extended 27.5 in length – 0.5 in longer than the standard VCORE 100, for more racquet-head speed, reach and leverage.
- Sweet spot (one of the 4S advantages) – the enlarged VCORE 100 sweet spot combined with the longer frame gives deeper pocketing, longer dwell time, more directional control and extra reach for wide balls.
- Snapback – the horizontal grommet system and snapback effect are more pronounced with the longer length, for easier spin on the run, sharper dipping trajectories and lively second serves.
- Speed – keeps the aerodynamic agility of the redesigned VCORE, with a whip-like acceleration for high-spin forehands, kick serves, deep cross-court defence and heavy rally balls.
- Stability – Servo Filter vibration damping, 2G-Namd™ Flex Force for responsive flex, VDM for comfort and control, and HM Graphite reinforcement.
Performance Overview
The PLUS is built for attacking baseliners who want to hit a deeper, heavier, more penetrating ball and want the racket to do more work through contact. Expect a heavier ball trajectory that pushes opponents back, more racquet-head speed from the added leverage, bigger first serves and stronger kick serves, better reach and court coverage, and easy depth even from defensive positions. The stability technologies keep the frame reliable when you swing fully.
Who Is It For?
Players who want:
- Bigger serves and more kick
- Heavier baseline ball penetration
- Increased reach on defence and volleys
- More leverage for spin generation
- A deeper, more aggressive trajectory
- A racket that rewards full, attacking swings
Power players, all-court attackers and heavy-spin baseliners will get the most from this frame.
